I'm liking that "Northwoods" stamp and am fascinated by the blade they're showing. I'm really eager to see the completed knife it goes into.

The blade reminds me of the Jess Crouch and Chris Wolf knives that Sears sold (for $ .46) back in the early 1900s.....especially with the font used on the stamp. Looks like the blade may be a little thicker than normal?

I think you're right, Mike. Unfortunately, from the rumors I hear, the blade is going into a 25 frame. (3" closed

) If that's true, what a waste of that beautiful blade. Should have been a 54 frame but that's just my opinion.

Check out the wood and brass on this Cotton Sampler! Only the blade and back spring are steel, the rest of the metal is brass. A very pretty knife if I say so myself.
