NEW GUY TO COLLECTING KNIVES

I AM NEW TO COLLECTING KNIVES AND I RECENTLY BOUGHT AN OLD CASE XX WITH 10 DOTS ON THE BLADE UNDER USA. THE NUMBERS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF BLADE LOOK TO BE 048S. IT HAS 2 BLADES AND THEY BOTH FOLD THE SAME WAY. THERE IS METAL TIP ON THE CASE OF THE KNIFE WHERE THE BLADSE OPEN TO AND THE OTHER END IS NOT METAL. ANYONE WHO CAN TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT THIS KNIFE PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Without seeing the stamping on the blade we will be unable to give the age and any estimate of value.

Welcome, if someone hasn't already told you . Your knife is a two blade trapper. The large spey is most generally called a great western, nice looking knife. casexx/usa/,,,,,,,,,, is 1970 if my mind is working tonight.
Cant think to straight as I just got through watching the Seahawks get into the NFC finals for the first time ever. Dont know know the value of knife. I do collect Trappers when you are ready to sell.
