The Kissing Crane is post 1971

It really looks older, the number is 1230XX on that Kissing Crane

The XX is a 1981 model.

Thanks for the info, the guy told me it was WWII period. It looked old and I like it so I'm happy with it - I paid $20 for it, it has a nick out of the handle, but won't spread.

They are nice knives for sure. Clean it up and carry it, you will like it.

I know a guy on here that carries a Klaas from time to time, he raves about them
