Mega amounts of gratitude to HiPower for making this available to me. It's the non-serialized version. There were 24 made without serial numbers.

Thanks Trevor, I'm pretty darned happy with it.
Monk must have wanted that Barlow pretty badly 'cause he offered up a mighty fine trade to suck it out of me. I'll get pictures tomorrow of the Cripple Creek Lockport Whittler that was my end of the bargain. I'm really very pleased with it.

IMO, the 66 Jack is one of the most underrated/overlooked GEC patterns … great knife.

I too like that shield. What's your opinion of the knife? (Ya just can't beat a Wharncliffe blade.)
I'm liking that "Northwoods" stamp and am fascinated by the blade they're showing. I'm really eager to see the completed knife it goes into.

Currently in transit from a trade with Monk. I'm going to use his picture (because it's so good!) Look forward to seeing this Ole Jack jackknife soon. The shield on this one is a hoot - I love it! OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark
