New Guy

Post by tmwalls »

Just wanted to ask for some advice about starting out collecting. Been trying to figure out what I like as far as starting a collection. I seem kind of drawn to the russlock style. Can you guys point me in the right direction as far as a good company to deal with until I become more familiar with the knives.

Thanks,
Thomas

I know a collector from the "Case Collector's Club" that has decided to sell his Russlock collection.
Drop me a PM if you'd like to contact him. He's not only a nice guy, but is giving some really good deals.

Thomas -- Welcome to AAPK. Glad to have you aboard. When you die, your kids will just sell 'em for pennies on the dollar anyway so collect/accumulate what you like. There's no rule that says you have to stick to one pattern or brand to be happy. Sometimes, it's just the knives.

I would have to agree with collecting what you like. I try to remind myself that it's more about quality than quantity, but If I like it, it will follow me home, and doesn't matter what it is. Enjoy!

Welcome to the party, Thomas. ::groove::

Watch out though, knife collecting is addictive!
