GEC..coming soon !!

Post by Mint Set Man »

I have just been told that the next new pattern from Great Eastern will be a Cigar patterned knife. This will be called the # 53 Cuban ( after cigars , of course ) 4 1/8" closed 3 blades and even-ended. This knife will be offered in all 3 Trademarks and various handle material.

ALSO....the #73 Scout will get a somewhat different configuration in that it will be offered as a single blade. The " Beavertail " will have a lone spey blade.

Both of the new knives are variations of old patterns not issued in many years. Within 90 days , these will be shipping.

Will the #73 and #23 continue to be made? If not, I better kick myself into gear.

useem, yes the #73 and #23 are still being made. I have seen some but don't know what all handle materials will be made.

I've heard they will be making the 73 and 23 soon with rear bolsters as well. I guess those might have new pattern numbers though ::shrug::

They will continue all the patterns. They released some knives with rear bolsters about 6 weeks ago....

Yes!

I love the cigar pattern. If they make a stag version I'll buy two.
