CASE Rigging Knife / Blade Tip Question

I have this 1970 Case rigger, & I was looking at the tip, and thinking, "Was it ground? Did it come from the factory like this?" because the knife looks unused, unsharpened, and mostly unhandled. But the tip of the blade looks like it's slanted a bit (see pic). I've seen this on other sheepfoot blades before too. Is this a factory thing, or has someone ground the tip slightly to hide a flaw? If so, they did a pretty good job of it. What do you all think? Thanks . . .

great looking knife and one of my favorite patterns too. the slant on the blade is factory. heres a pic of mine....its a 1972.

Thanks for sharing . . . that's a really nice one also. I don't see the slant on the tip of yours though. I'm talking about the sharp side of the blade . . . you can see on the very end of mine (see the big pic of the blade) how the sharp side of the blade slants up just a bit at the end. Yours looks flat all the way to the tip (unless I just can't see it).

Very nice knife! Here are a few more . . . the two reddish ones are USA's, the other two are 1970's. You can see one of the 1970's (second from the right) has the slant at the tip of the blade. The other 3 are completely flat all the way to the tip.
