quick question...I have a 73-pattern scout made in 2008...patriot series 1 of 50..is this celluloid???would it be safe to store with my other knives?? probably a "rookie question"...
...but worth asking.

Re: acrylic?
Yes, it's acrylic. If I'm not very badly mistaken (it happens), GEC has never used any Celluloid on their knives.

Re: acrylic?
acrylic is not only stable but very tuff. i doubt any would crack if dropped. i believe the old problems associated with celluloid have made some sales of gecs acrylics slower.--HiPower
