Stag Bi-Centennial Case Knife to benefit Tank

Post by philco »

I have been contacted by a member of AAPK who prefers to remain anonymous who had generously donated a beautiful stag Bi-Centennial Case knife to be auctioned off with all proceeds going to benefit our friend Tank.
The auction will run from now till midnight Eastern Time, Monday, December 17. The knife will go to the high bidder at the time bidding ends. Payment must be recieved before the knife is shipped. You can either pay by Paypal or by USPS money order. I will contact the winning bidder to see which payment option is preferred and will provide additional information about where to send the payment.

Here's how the doner described the knife to me;

"........she sure is a beautiful knife. CASE 76' Bi-Centennial 5165 in some real nice FAT stag. Serial Number #1881 of only 10,000 made. Engraved bolsters, etc, etc. Some incredibly nice stag, in my opinion."

The knife comes as shown in the photos below. The original plastic storage box is not included with the knife. Shipping will be included at no additional charge to the buyer. I think you'll agree this one is a show stopper! ::tu::

I'd like to thank the anonymous doner for this very generous contribution to help fellow AAPK member Tank. Now folks don't be shy, this is your chance to own a rare and beautiful knife at your price, and every penny you pay will go to help with Tank's expenses.

I'm feeling pretty tempted by this one myself, so I'd like to reserve the right to bid on it myself.

Thanks to all and I hope you have a very merry Christmas!

Phil

Congratulations DRS. Looks like you are the winner! (I knew I should have stayed up till midnight ::tounge:: ) This is one time when it bothers me not one bit to get outbid because I know every penny is going to help our friend Tank. I'll PM you to further discuss payment and shipping.

Thanks to each one of you who placed a bid in this auction and to the anonymous doner who put this knife up to benefit Tank.
