Case red/green silver bolster Christmas Trapper
Looking high and low for a Case Christmas trapper that has red and green bone scales that is divided by a silver(cigar band) etch center. bolsters are silver etched and has Merry Christmas etch on blade. Can't remember the year may be late 90's early 2000's. I lost this in an auction last year at Christmas on ebay and I would really love to own it for a very special Christmas gift this year. Thanks, Rocky

Jerry, believe me when I say I've searched high and low I have. Was hoping someone had this in their private collection or store or knew of someone who had connections to this knife and would sell it. Keep your radar hummin' Moose and let me know if ya catch a blip on the screen. Rocky

Rocky - can you post a picture? I go by a HUGE Case knife dealer when I head down to Fort Bragg/Fayetteville NC - they have knives that are 5 - 10 years old in stock. I will be glad to stop in and look for you. OH

Re: Case red/green silver bolster Christmas Trapper
Just wanted to say thanks for folks look in' out for me especially Travis, who had one very close but for now, I 'm holding out for the series with the scrolled bolsters. I would appreciate if you folks could keep an ear on the tracks for the trapper that Monk posted for me in this thread. As always I am grateful for the friendship and help. Rocky

Re: Case red/green silver bolster Christmas Trapper
Rocky, ASSUMING I find one in stock at the Case dealership off I-95 in Smithfield/Selma what should I pay for the knife? Or do you want a POC/phone number and do it mail order? Let me know, I will be driving down to Fort Bragg on Thursday morning and I will stop in and check then (just what I need, an excuse to stop at a knife shop!!) OH

Re: Case red/green silver bolster Christmas Trapper
Ps Maybe you should shoot me your cell number via PM - then I could take a picture on the spot and send it with the price. This store is usually list price, but they don't change the price once it is marked (i.e., a 2006 price is on a 2006 knife - that has been my experience buying from them in the past). OH

Re: Case red/green silver bolster Christmas Trapper
Rocky, I left you a voice mail message from the store on 11/29 at the number you sent via PM (the name on the voice mail was Wayne). The store didn't have your knife - they had quite a few current and past year Case Christmas knives but nothing from 2006. Sorry you didn't get the message. Bruce
PS If you ever get down to Selma NC drive west about a mile from I-95 to the "Surf & Turf" (sounds like a restaurant but it is actually a small engine repair shop) - owner is a knife collector and has the biggest selection of Case knives for sale of any store in eastern NC.

Re: Case red/green silver bolster Christmas Trapper
Thanks Bruce. I really appreciate you going out of your way in trying to locate the knife I want. That means alot. I might have put in my number incorrectly. It's 804-314-2580, just for future reference. Thanks for the heads up r/t the Surf and Turf engine shop a good connection for the future!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Christmas. Thank you for your friendship and good will. Merry Christmas, Rocky
