I just got this one in yesterday. It is now one of the favorites in my collection.

And another neat one. No blade etch on this one however it does have a little blade rub lol.

Both are beauts James. I like the cigar band on the first and the unusual bolsters on the second. When you run out of room you can send me that Cotton Sampler ::ds:: ::shrug:: ::tu:: :lol:

A pearl scaled rooster is what started me on my quest FOR MORE! Those are real beautys.

I have gained a new appriciation for pinned pearl scales and who/what ever installed those handles at the factory, I take my hat off to them.

James, you have exquisite tastes in knives. I must have too. Here's a pair of my favorite 5" texas toothpicks, both pearl Roosters.

I originally thought the cigar band was a ploy to be able to make an unusual looking handle with four small, rather than two large sections of pearl, and hence cheaper. But I have come to appreciate the unusual- ness of the rooster and that probably much work went into it.
Thanks for starting this thread, I always look for a chance to show off my pearl 'picks in particular.
