Second X2 Robeson

Post by tank »

I bought this Robeson RS 85 Trout Knife as a 2nd because of the dings in the finger gaurd. As it turns out it's a double boo boo. The tang stamp has:
Moore Maker, Inc
Matador, Texas
::shrug:: ::dang:: ::shrug::
I guess someone at Queen was in a hurry or hungover that day. :roll: ::paranoid::

It has the Robeson RS85S number on the rear tang unless Moore uses this number also. RS=Robeson Shuredge - 85=Queen model # - S=Stag handle.

Just out of curiosity Tank, where can you by a Queen made factory second?

When I have Special Factory Orders made, Queen gives me the option of purchasing the seconds at a much cheaper price. Usually about 5% of the knives are seconds.
