You guys have sure upped the quality standards that's for sure. When I coment that I find nothing wrong and stretch with a fingerprint remark, I'm saying that the quality is near custom. I have 30 to 40 Canal Street Cutlery knives, some of the 2006 GEC knives rivaled CSC quality wise. These 2007 knivs are equally as good or better, I give an EDGE to GEC becaue of the steel being used as the standard offering, providing the quality remains the same. Tired of 420, I would like 1095, D2, A2, 52100, 5160, S30V (not likely due to cost), 440C and a few others.
You're right, they are hard to put them down once in hand. I'm glad I did not let the first 2 knives I bought sway me, they were real bad, but came back in excellent conditon. Bill Howard must have had his heart sink when he saw them, my heart did. I was told he looked at them on the first saturday of April, IIRC. I'm happy to say I've bought every knife could and 1 for my son also. Happy to say, all have ranged from average to near custom, the hihest rating I wold give a producton knife. Naturally I'm quite pleased and my son will be very surprised indeed. He will be 18 in October and Graduate in June, he will get his set then. He will be pleasantly surprised.
Keep up the good work!
