Kutmaster Stockman Utica NY stamped with 0?

Check out this beauty....but check out the "0" sitting by itself....
Anybody know what that "0" represents?

I'm not sure about the 0 but I think the knife came from SMKW.
I do know that CROW'S HYBRID is a type of seed .

I thought I would resurrect this old thread. Today I received this lovely Kutmaster Stockman that is a twin sister to Scott's. The Tungsten etch is still clearly visible.

Scott, I have one with the 'o' by itself also, don't know what it means, I asked on the site before with no response. I would like to know also. No help here. Ken

This is just a guess but could the 0 indicate Stainless Steel? Schrade used the plus sign (+) for their Stainless.

Scott, I have a Kutmaster with a V under the stamp and a faint etch 'vanadium steel' so maybe it does as bdev said indicate type of steel. Still doesn't answer your question though does it. Excuse poor pics had to use flash. Slim
