The knives for this auction are all Westerns. They are the backups for my personal hunting knives, the knives I'd give a friend who needed a knife. There's not a trace of mint-like goodness to these knives, they are just classic American-made working knives with a lot of working life left in them. Expect them to show signs of use, and need a bit of cleaning, as well as sharpening.
This knife is Western's version of the folding hunter, their pattern 062. Tang stamp is
WESTERN
BOULDER COLO
MADE IN U.S.A.
The back is marked
062
This example dates from the 1950-1961. Overall length is 8 13/16" with a 3 11/16" clip blade. The covers are a beautiful red bone, with a chip under the center pin on the pile side (see pic #3). The blades show signs of "cleaning," possibly to remove previous scratches from sharpening. Both blades have good snap.
Feel free to PM or email me with any questions. Thanks!
