Schrade tool needs knife blade

Post by cattaraugus57 »

Hi Guys,Don't know if this is the correct place to post this ::shrug::
Had one of these years ago when they first came out and it was stolen out of my car :x
To find another one will usually cost $75.00-100...I cant do that, but found
this one for a lot less BUT,The knife blade(of course) is broken.
Is there anyone here that can re-blade this for me?? ::shrug::

Man, all of those tools and someone had to pry with the knife blade. ::facepalm::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Hay Catt, do you have a caliper to measure the inside diameter of the rivet?
I might have one. Oh, and how long is the rivet?

Also, how long of a blade are we looking for and what style & stamp?

I think I can supply you with a blade.
Do you see one that looks right for it?

Joe, I do have one but I need to get a battery
I can prob get the Rivet out but as far as finishing a new one, that would be a problem right now.
Looks like 1/8 ID though.
Wonder who could finish the Rivet?

Joe&Orvet,The blade is the 3rd one down in Orvet's picture. length is a guess at around 2"..?

thanks guys ::tu::

I am not sure I could to a stainless steel tube rivet like that.
I have a flaring tool that works on copper tubing, but I bet stainless is a bunch harder.
I don’t think my flaring tool will work on it.

If you PM your address to me I will stick the blade in the mail to you. (no charge before you ask.)

The largest rivet I have measures:

stainless,
.1185 O.D.
.0895 I.D.
.780 long

Dale, what is the diameter of the hole in that blade?

What length rivet do you need, catt?
