Somebody with real expertise will probably be along to help. But to me it looks like a knife designed for hunting because the big belly if the blade is useful for skinning. You probably know that. But I can't help with date of manufacture etc.

Hey Rick......don't mean to be a smart A$$ but its a 9" fixed blade hunting knife by Imperial.....

The only thing you can do is match up the tang stamp to the date to determine it's age...
