Those pesky CHRISTians at it again

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Being a young myself (especially compared to Dave!) I can say that this is a hard thing to find up here in CT. Christians, especially young ones, sharing our faith is uncommon (here at least). I love to see things like this, and I am praying that the one that brought this case up will realize how dumb they are... ::dang::

Good for them. If facts be known, there is nothing in the Constitution that says anything about separation of church and state, only that the federal government shall not dictate what your religion will be. God Bless America.

While the Constitution and the First Amendment were created with the freedom of religion and the exercise therof in their text, those against Christianity are constantly attacking Christian beliefs and the exercise therof in the courts of the united states including the supreme court. Said courts have made many illegal rulings that have imposed certain rulings against Christain churches and believers that has violated both the Constitution and the First Amendment.

Another thing that is concerning to me is if there is to be a seperation of Church and State, why does the Federal and many state governments require that Churches pay taxes or at least account for the monies collected? That is not a seperation of Church and State but rather an invasion of the state into the church's business. Yet, when the church practices it's First Amendment rights the State and Federal governments step in and say the church cannot say anything other than what has been deemed as politically correct things to say even though the First Amendment guarantees every individual the right to freedom of speech.

Those who are opposed to Church involvement in political realms are those who oppose the church and it's teachings. Therefore they always use the seperation of Church and state to their advantage, yet when the Church excersises it's CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND RELIGION those opposing say the constitution does not give churches that right.

America used to respect this concept but does no longer. It just shows how far America has gotten away from Christian teachings and principles, many of which regardless of what those who oppose those teaching want to believe, really are included in the Constitution and laws of The United States. God's name may not be included in the wording, but many of his rulings for mankind are. If you don't believe me....read your bible! ::nod::
God Bless!
