Very nice Paul... ::tu:: ...I like the saber grind and the blade set up better than the 42's.

I may get off the fence and snag a few of these... ::nod::

These two #74 Saddle Trappers, came in today's mail !!!!!! The blade combo, makes for an all-time favorite !!!! ::nod:: Liking the Wharncliff, much better than the spey__the back spring opening, is not quite as strong as the #73,but has the ""snap"" of a gator closing **___the jigging is outstanding on the bone too*****__Another winner from GEC (IMHO)!!! ::tu::

I have the 2012 BF Forum Knife version in Green Tea bone, and like Monk says, mine has less tension than the GEC nail-breakers, but a nice solid 'snap' to 'em ... very nice balance.

I am really likin' some of the new patterns GEC is rolling out lately ... ::nod::

I have always really liked the bullet end jack pattern, but not been crazy about the big "paddle" spear point main blade (I know, a lot of you guys love 'em, just not my cup of tea …)

So, I am anxiously awaiting this GEC #85 Bullet Jack w/clip main … (seller's pics) …

I wasn't even considering Bocote, but this one is different - looks kind of old school.

I think this particular handle with the finer grain is gonna look pretty sweet once she gets a bit of patina …
