"Academy of Country Music " ....awards show on Tue

We have a very modest knife collector in our midst. I hope I am not doing something he would not approve of.

In case you did not know this , our very own " singin 46 " AKA Perry Coleman is going to be televised live from Las Vegas on Tuesday evening, on stage , no less. You see, he is one of the backup singers who travels with Country superstars Faith Hill and hubby Tim McGraw. They have played every major stop in the last several years. People like us only see the glamourus side of it all, but, Perry has verified it is a grueling life on the road. How could he not enjoy being with Tim.....or, I mean Faith ??

Normally some one like Faith Hill would have 3 females in the background, but Perry has upstaged them all. It does not end here...he has also performed on numerous CD's with all the big acts down the road in Nashville. I understand his modesty but in this case I am honored to know him. Turns out, he knows of my brother in Nashville who was very active in the Gospel Music business just before Elvis died in 1977. This is a very interesting person to know and talk with. Please do not call his home after mid-night or I am in deep, deep dooky.

Sorry Perry, but most of us are in envy and I had to spill my guts. Everyone needs to wave and say howdy on Tuesday evening.

OH wow, how cool is that! Wear an AAPK hat Perry so we can pick you out.
My closest note to Country music fame is growing up and working clubs with Daryll Worley.

It is good to know that a fellow collector has risen to such lofty status. I will be watching, I have NEVER have watched one before.

Country, the ONLY MUSIC worth listening to unless it's WESTERN.

Ok, the millon dollar question about Singin is "Which knife will he have on him while singing in front of millions of people" ?

Will it be one of his new GEC's ??? A Case Classic ??? His beautiful stag Schatt & Morgan Railsplitter??? All these wonderful choices..

I am laying odds on one of the smaller GEC's...

Country Music but starting today Country's going to be one of my all time

Well you guys all know where I've been in the last few days, winnin in Vegas baby.

Pulled a little money out of there. 345.00 to be exact. Hey thanks for all the great comments.

Sunburst I was packin my GEC UN-X-LD Herringbone. Hey Jonet that was me standin between the 2 girls singin you couild barely see me, its been better in the past. Mitch, that guy is not me but maybe some day

saw the backups, sounded great, pretty dark. i thought you might have been sitting near faith and tim at the beginning. or were you backstage in some colored room preparing?

Hey Gunsmoke, yeah people say they can always hear me but cant always see me. Most of the time that's a good thing probably.

Hey Johnnie we were in the the green room tellin jokes to all our friends we have'nt seen in a while. Alot of the guys in Brooks and Dunns band used to play in Faith's band with me, so I know a bunch of them. Plus I know Kix and Ronnie pretty well too. Sorry about the quick pics, lousy.
