Hey Tim, here is the sibling to your Peanut. I do have to say I am quite fond of the Case smooth bone knives.

1980' SR 6220 "Satin Rose"

1995' 6220 in Antique Bone

Last 2 pics are of a 1 bladed Peanut. 1995' 5120. Look at the top view pic, some fat stag for a small knife.

And for those of you that like a specific blade for a job (and small scissors) here is a 5 bladed Peanut. She is only about one inch wide so even though a 5 blader, one could pocket carry one. I wouldn't but hey, that's me, to each his own.

Some pretty green bone with what resembles a late Rogers jig to me.

Hey zp4ja, is that what they call a Big Nut or a Mini-Beast? Pretty cool!

I finally got mine, 2 stag 5120Rs with very different looks. Sorry Bob, no mammoth but I still like them both. 1978 2 dots in stainless.

I believe you are correct in the "Big Nut or Mini Beast" label. But since no etch, not sure. I have about five or six CASE 5 blade knives. A 6507 Mini Trapper, the posted Peanut 6520, 6539 Sowbelly, 6549 Copperhead, 5554 Trapper and a 5592 Stockman.

Wazu posted a "Big Nut" on the following post and I believe his is engraved and serialized. Maybe the is the difference here. I started the post since my 5554Trapper does not have the Beast etch.

Outstanding collection everyone. I have these Case Limited Edition Series. I have all of the regular release Peanuts. Case did not produce a peanut for the Series XX or Series XXI, so I substituted with a Baby Butterbean. Pic is not real good.

Sweet collection Magoo!

Nice knife Garddogg! Sweet gift. A sweet small carry knife. Fits perrfect in the coin pocket of the jeans. Everyone has their own opinion but since I posted this knife about 2 months ago on page 2 of this thread, I turned it into a full time EDC. First from my collection. the handles are about to implode and I figured it was easier to keep an eye on it if I carried it. It certainly does a lot of work for a small knife.

My Harvest Orange Bone Peanut, manufacture date: 2016. I own five Case knives, but this is my favorite. For a while I wondered why the two blades open on the same end, then I figured something out. It allows the body of the knife to have that gentle S-curve, which makes the knife comfortable in the hand. A blade on either end would preclude the curve. Also, I read something cool about a 30-day Peanut challenge but can't find it again. Have any of you seen it?

I have a couple peanuts too ... my fave for the reason you mention is they barely print in dress clothes is a SINGLE blade Damascus peanut - the single blade version is even slimmer.
