Hi, can anyone tell me who made this knife?? Was it a contract knife made for KABAR or did KABAR make it themselves in 2008??

Mike;
Canal Street made those, they have made some other patterns for KABAR as well.

Re: KABAR ??
Thats what I thought but the seller says they were made by KABAR when I asked him. I would have thought that there would be some note on the paperwork that Canal Street made them?
Thanks for the info, Mike

Here is the response from the seller about who made them!!
Dear galvanic1882,
Hello, This is a well known Ka-Bar manufactured knife. It was issued 3-5 years ago along with two others in the series. The other two are a pig sticker and a Ka-Bar fighting knife. All three have bone handles and were limited to 500 each. All have serial numbers and certificates of authenticity from the Union Cutlery Co (Ka-Bar) in Olean, New York. They can usally be found for sale on E-Bay if you search Ka-bar Dogs Head. Thanks again for your questions and interest in the listing.

Re: KABAR ??
Canal Street must have taken lessons in knife making from Bear & Son 'cause that's what it looks like to me. Not saying B&S made it, just saying that's what smacked me in the face when I first saw it.

Re: KABAR ??
I think the Case Classics are the same kind of deal, made by Queen.
Many think they are Case made knives. All kind of other old remakes
out there. Winchester,Remington whatever. Be careful.
