Hello,
I picked up a Barlow knife at a flea market and on the bolsters it says, "Fulton Barlow". Can anyone tell me anything about this knife?

Hello,
All it says is, "high carbon steel U.S.A. "
It has steel bolsters. It seems to have plastic scales...could be bakelite? I'd like to try to replace them with some ebony I have but I don't want to alter it if it is something rare. Oh, one other thing I've noticed, the pivot pin is a set screw with a slot. That's all I can give for a description. Maybe i can get my camera out and take a pic? I appreciate the help.

Here's the pic. It's the best I can get from my camera.

celticastronomer...if it turns out to be bakelite, hold on to it...it has become quite valuable...possibly more than ebony...

On an entirely unrelated note, before I go to Hollywood, and become a big movie star...I'm changing my name to Fulton Barlow.

Gee,
I was going through the $1.00 junk bins when I found it all covered in rust. I was gonna give it away.
