Thanks guys for the compliments. Yes, H&R imho isn't the knife that it once was. But, are any?

Not really sure if this one qualifies as a Congress or not....I'm thinking it would be a half congress? Either way, here it is, Hammer Brand USA, tang dates it from 1945--1955
measures 3 1/4" closed, snappy and tight!

Thought I would revive this thread. I have been collecting congresses this past year. I am up to around 30. Mostly Bokers, Camillus and Case. The gooduns are a little pricey for my pay grade but I am always looking. charlie

it has the same Anchor tang stamp as this 3" MOP Bingham's Half Congress I just got off the bay. Do you have any idea on the date of manufacture?:-)
