Morning Monk, see we are the only two up right now. I need to go fix a cup of coffee - head cold is working on me and hunting all day in the cold yesterday didn't help (but the rut is on!) My good buddy, just back from Iraq, missed a hog of a deer yesterday - huge buck and big rack - he looked big as a mule when he entered the cutover under the powerline and I was 800 yards away! OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Re: First Cup Diner!
Been fighting a cold for several days so not real jolly this morning. I have a couple of knives stuck in the postal system and that doesn't help. Mumble, mumble. Grumble, grumble. I'm a bit of a crotchety old bugger this morning. Maybe a cup will help. Yeah, that's the ticket. Let me go fire up the Keurig.

Mornin' ya'll.
Slept in 'till 5:30, had a nightmare.
I woke up and found out I wasn't dreaming.
You are so right and I am afraid we don't know the half of it yet.
Have a safe drive & have fun panting.

Re: First Cup Diner!
Thursday. The day with no song, no love. The red headed stepchild of the week days. Maybe my knife that's sitting in Elk Grove Village will become unstuck today and brighten up Thursday.
Wishing each and every one of you a happy, healthy day.

Mornin' boyz! I just rolled out and my 1st cup is just about sipping temp. I am all packed up and will pull out for the Tulsa show this morning. There are so many great stories about this gigantic show that I am really puckered up to get there.
Eleven acres under one roof of all guns and knives! Something like 4000 tables. Wow!
I'll check in when I get back home.
