identify this knife?
I am not able to show a picture of it but I will describe as much as possible. Blade is pen shape, the handle has different material inlaid such as gold designs I can't make out and it is ontop of a green backround on one side.On the other is a picture in gold of a bull with his enemy in silver holding a red flag. This scene is on top of a green backround. The stamp on the blade reads G.C.CO. stainless japan. On the other side is a number that says 131. It has a bail. Can anybody tell me about this knife?
No Problem, I did not see an email address, so I threw mine out there. Either way, glad to be of any help. Need help in that area? I would be happy to walk you through it. I will be out at the shop all day, today, God willing that is.justold52 wrote:Thanks Hukk
I sent Lisa my E-mail but I would not know how to do it after I got it.![]()
I hope she sends it to you now.
Fess up time: Need surgery on June 14. Re-tore right rotator cuff and torn the bicep tendon away from the bone, partially. These hurt a mite, so, I can go until the afternoon before I take meds. If I start to sound goofy, now you know why. It's the Oxycontin Flexeril cocktail. I believe it happened when I locked myself out of the house (5 Hours until my good wife came home) and had to hop a 7 ft fence, twice.

Hukk my friend, everything falls apart after 50!
Just in my case I started to fall apart at 29. I have spent the last 26 years falling apart.
I have had 19 or 20 surgeries in those 26 years.
When they went into fix my rotator cuff, they found the biceps tendon was frayed more than 50% so they just cut it. They say the only way it really has a great effect on you is in the motion of twisting a screwdriver. So I have four or five cordless screwdrivers as well as several corded ones.
Friday I had to go get cortisone shots in the two lower joints of my right thumb........MAJOR OUCH
I won't be doing much with my hand for a couple more days. It is a good thing I have NaturallySpeaking to do my typing for me.
With age comes wisdom (hopefully for most of us). I think by the time your 50 you should be wise enough not to do all the stupid things you did when you were in your twenties that left your body in the shape it is now!
I guess though if we had the wisdom of our fifties when we were in our twenties, we would have never taken the risks that we took, that made us the people we are today.
In some cases that a good thing, in some cases it isn't.
I hope you get better soon my friend,
Dale

Thanks Dale. I managed to push it out to the 14th so my son will be here until the 17th. It will give us some good quality time. I'm just glad it is not going to be on June 5th. They will have me go in as the first patient because it will take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Time will go by fast for me, my wife and son, well, they will likely think it is a long time.orvet wrote:I hope you get better soon my friend,

Bless on your up coming surgery, my friend!

I may have had a great time doing almost any outdoor activity one could imagine to the extreme and now I'm hurting a little.
Would I do it again if I knew what the future held? YES, I have lived an extreme life, I have so many stories that I can't even begin to tell my son in a 2 week visit (he will be here June 3).

Thanks, for your kind words!
