Blade replacement...

Post by dudleythetogi »

Should I leave this alone or should I make it smaller,I didnt think to look at similar knives when I started to grind it and when I looked at comparable Teardrop Jacks online they look alot smaller. Also, where can I get replacement nickel silver pin replacement,or should I just use steel.

You can get pin material from jantz and texas knife supply. It is around $1-$2 for a foot long piece. If this is the only one you gonna do i can send you a small piece. Pm me your address and what size it is, i should have some.

Thanks Paladin,I have a few knives in the works right now so a foot long peice sounds good.I work in a machine shop so i can probably just get something on the large size and turn to any size I need.Couldnt remember the name of the knife supply place(Jantz)thanks again.
