A tricked out 51OT

I picked up this 51OT a few weeks back, just got around to tinkering with it. Vine filework on lock bar and spring holder, AAA grade bookmatched stabalized desert ironwood, brass pins and red spacers. Decided not to serrate the liners becuase I think it takes away from the vine pattern, looks good with arrowhead, but just don't match up well with the vine IMO.

CCBill, all these pins were done with a certain "magic" hammer

Open to comments, questions, suggestions, and constructive critisizm.

I like the red liner with the desert ironwood. I wasn't aware that there were any companies doing stabilization on desert ironwood. Can you tell us who did it or did you do it?

Outstanding work. There may be some magic in the hammer, but I think most of the magic is in the hands that are using it now. Glad I could contribute something that you could use.
Have you figured out how to UN-shrink that anvil, yet(LOL).

I stabalized it to an extent, I soaked it in CA for a while, it filled in a few small checks very well and it seemed to take on a better finish than when you just buff it. it seemed to have a better shine.

I have some, believe me flash glue is right. I got a little on my finger and tried to wipe it off. It dried so fast I glued my finger to a leather shop apron.

Yeah I guess it would. I read the label, Flash dries in 1 to 5 seconds. Yeah right, or so I thought. Well, I can tell you that it certainly does.

Hi bill, I've tried it before, was going to do it on this knife actually, but decided against it. I plan to do up a buck 110 or 112 with a filed blade lock bar new handles, ect the works.
