Buck Vantage Pro

Has anyone else got one of the Buck Vantage Pro knives? I bought one with the Bos heat treated s30v stainless steel blade after EDC'ing a Kershaw for a little while. Buck has built a nugget of gold when they built this Vantage Pro. The knife I bought came hair shaving sharp out of the box. I've been cutting everything I can find that needs cutting (and somethings that don't really need cutting but I've cut it anyway) to see how it's going to hold it's edge. I could make a long list of things that I've cut so far but it would be too long for posting here so I'll just name a couple things that usually put a hurting on a knife's edge. I cut some 3/8 inch thick rubber with thick vinyl threading in it that is 36 inches wide for out door floor mats on my concrete walk to my house, then I cut a 14 inch x 16 inch cardboard box into 2 inch squares just to see if it would effect the edge of the knife, plus the other simple things I've cut with the Buck knife and it is still as hair shaving sharp as it was when it came out of the box. I'm usually not a lover of stainless steel bladed knives but this Buck knife has blown me away. I don't know if it's the s30v stainless steel or the Bos heat treatment or the combo of both but this knife is a winner in my book. I know that all the things I've cut with this knife would have dulled my carbon steel bladed knives or at least made them need an edge touch up. Those of you that have one of these knives most likely know what I'm talking about and those of you that don't have one of these knives try one. You will be satisfied with it's ability to hold a razor sharp edge. I don't know how it's going to be to sharpen because it hasn't began to dull yet. I'll post how the sharpening goes whenever this knife dulls and I have to sharpen it. to Buck on the Vantage Pro.

I have one for about a year & haven't sharpened it yet, though I think I stropped it once or twice.
I love the knife, but don't like the G-10 handle.

I sent it back to Buck and they replaced it with the Zytel handles from a less expensive models.
Now I love the knife. Between the S30V blade and the Bos heat treating it is awesome!

My sister just bought an 845 for her boyfriend's father who's having his 50th birthday. So I was checking it out on-line and it looks like a sweet knife.
