Theater Bowie??? Maybe Carlson's or Pilot's Bailout

Post by Mossdancer »

I have searched with no success to frind a knife by Village that is similiar. All I can find are the heavy round and square point machete. I laid one side by side with the subject and yes it would be possible for a remake. This VB is in a 42 sheath the chatilion in a 45. Only difference I can see is what appears to be iron rivets in the redo. Whoever did it if in fact it is a remake was a master at his craft. Anyone know any more about these knives. If possible ignore the abuse in recent years and check the false edge and the curves of the grinding, it just looks factory done on Steriods.

That is true, they were issued to corpsmen stationed with the Marines.
