Cool old knife
Am helping a buddy sell some of his sister's knives from her deceased husband's collection. This is a Central Cutlery Co 3 blade. Anyone know of approximate age on this? Snap is great on all 3 blades.

Re: Cool old knife
It is a shame they had such a short production run; that knife is just plain neat!
Quality should not be an accident. So what is the explanation for some of the knives we've seen in the past few years? (from A Knifebuyer's Manifesto)

It's a product of pre-WWII Germany.

I am seeing a trend with all these examples. Are they produced by hand? The fluting and bolster work looks identical.

Re: Cool old knife
German knife manufacturers were not above placing the word, "Sheffield" on their knives in order to capitalize on the marketability of true Englished made cutlery.
I suspect all the above examples were made in Germany.
