Ka-Bar Knife Display

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

Ka-Bar Knife Display

Post by just bob »

Was at an auction and bought this for a song with the intention of moving it along to a collector, but have kind of grown fond of it and am thinking of restoring it. It's a light metal locker type about 14 x 24. I can come up with some posters to insert into the doors on it. What I'm stuck on is the top. Is there a globe type light that goes there maybe like an old gas pump or panel glass than maybe has Ka-Bar or knives on them? Has anyone ever seen a unit like this or maybe even own? I've looked on the Internet and came up empty. There is nothing close to this. All of the price sheets with this are from 1982. This may be older? One poster is of "Gadabout Gabby" Comments or suggestions are welcomed.

I'm sorry. This poster is of Gadabout Gaddis and not Gadabout Gabby.
