Rough week at work

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Rough week at work

Post by glennbad »

I work for an electrical contractor in NH. One of our employees died in a crash on the way to work this week...

Perhaps if he was wearing his seatbelt, there might have been a different outcome. We'll never know, but either way it's heartbreaking. I'm going to the wake tonight...

Then, yesterday early morning, my co-worker in the office next to me had a heart attack at home. He ended up with 2 stents, and should be fine.

I know god has a plan, but sometimes things like this shake your faith just a bit. :(

Wow Glenn, that is a rough week!
My prayers are for the first fellow's family and for a speedy recovery for the guy with the heart attack.

I hope things are much smoother at your job in the weeks ahead.

Glenn I'm going to pray for the family left behind, the coworker who is recovering and for those of you who work together and are grieving. Now is the time to cling even more tightly to your faith.

Thanks everyone. I went to the wake last night. Many of our employees were there, along with the other friends and family. His family is very involved in the church, I think that has helped them through this. I don't know how they were able to hold it together. I couldn't even talk to them without tearing up.

The line stretched around the room, down the hall, and out the door. I only wish I will have touched half the lives this young man seems to have.

BTW, on a positive note, my co-worker was released from the hospital yesterday. He wants to come back to work next week, but my boss is forcing him to stay home at least next week, LOL.
