Help any info...... USA Push Button Eagle Handle

Post by TripleF »

This is the first push-button release knife I've scored.

Any help with more info would be appreciated. Since I can't sell it on eBay if somebody wants to trade or buy it from me....just shoot me a PM.

Turns out it's an imported knife...it's simply stamped with USA on the tang for the purpose to deceive people...

that sort of advertising really gets my dander up. especially in instances where offical uniforms are made elsewhere, but they would have usa in proud letters on the outside.
i guess that as long as doesn't read "made in usa", then it is ok for regulations.

Scratch the words import/fake into it and use it as a letter opener. ::nod::

If nothing else comes from this - it's a classic
example of a "hot stamp."

Note the lack of crisp edges and a sunken-in look about it.
They forgot to put the period after the "A" also!
