what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

When two of my grandson's were here a couple of weeks ago they wanted to mung through my cigar box of cheap junkers. One of them finally got up the courage to ask if they could have one of the junkers each. How could I resist.

a recent pic of me & my wife & best friend, Lucille. She shares my enthusiasm for knives, it drives her crazy when a little box arrives and I let it sit on the table for awhile without opening it. She gets as anxious as a little kid on Christmas morning. After a while it gets to her and it's, " Well, are you gonna open the darn box or what? - I can't wait any longer."

The 'Yule Brenner' look was a necessary change. Quite a few years ago, I got tired of running into people who I hadn't seen in a while asking me, " How long have you been sick?
Are you on chemo or radiation therapy?" (Hair was thinning out quite a bit.) The upside is money saved on haircuts & shampoo can be used for knives.

I hate it when I'm on the wrong end of the camera. This one was accidental. The knife and camera are still ok, nothing broke.

Sheeeeit Johnnie...you ain't lookin' old, just well seasoned and wise!

I'd love to see some of the other regulars "man up" (or "woman up") and post a pic here, nice to put a face with a name! ::handshake::

Here's a shot I snapped of myself in the woods a couple of weeks ago while doing a deer drive in northern Wisconsin...My wife gives me grief about the hat ::facepalm:: , but hey, those fluffy ear flaps come in handy when a cold north wind blows through... ::tu::
