A couple more Dogshead knives

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

Here's a Barlow and a Stockman Dogshead knives. Both have stag scales. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Thanks,

I'd like to find out when these were made and why? Was it for a Club function or did they try a comeback for the dogshead?
Any info would be great ::tu::

Thanks for the info ::tu:: Do you know who made them? Did KA-Bar produce their own? The stag look is unique. I can't tell if it's Sanbar or maybe European stag. ::tu:: It definately has a tight burn patern. Both knives are very well made for sure. They both came in a silver and black box.
Thanks again,
