Re: American Switches
Here`s one that`s fairly scarce and in decent shape for a 80/90 year old small single [ sportsman] with the small stamp
i truly believe that this one`s spring broke early in its life and thats why its blade is still full , bones are crack free and has most of its factory "glazed " finish on it
i likey this one alot and made and put a new leafspring in it
verrrry comfy in the hand and pocket , fires nice and locksup like new , Enjoy !

Got this Lone Wolf in yesterday...the button is hidden under the scale.
This puppy will jump out of your hand...I'm really impressed.
Thanks knife-nut.

Re: American Switches
Its leaf....that’s what really surprised me.
....She snaps open with authority also.
Heres a link from blade HQ showing one with a partially serrated edge.

Re: American Switches
Got this one done today....it’s a D.Ralph/R.Wilson Tactical stiletto style auto.
When I received it ,most of the black coating on the blade was missing from use...so I figured I would take it apart and give it an overhaul.
I didn't want to make the blade all nice & shiny....I thought since it already had camo handles .. I would give it a bead blast look.
I think it turned out pretty well.

Re: American Switches
Yeah...I agree.
....in fact they make them in black...but for the price that I got this one for,I'm not gonna complain about the color.
Heres another good site to buy auto's that you might not know about.

Re: American Switches
The ProTech TR is my favorite modern auto, mine is 154CM I think and hard as a rock but you can't tear the thing up I've used mine hard for a number of years and it's still as strong as they day it was made. It's been submerged in water, sand, dirt, muck, and it's share of blood, hair and fish scales. It's my only knife I can say I have abused but aside from general wear you wouldn't know it. Things are built like a tank. I had a couple of the brend models too but didn't like the handle as well as the TR

..I doubt that I will ever use mine at all....but it is nice to know it would get the job done if ever the need arose.
