Today I'm carrying the first Case knife I ever bought for myself (others had been gifted, this was my first EDC purchase, in 2008.) Case Congress, 3.5 inches long, not really sure what you call the bone on it, but its been a lot of places with me, and processed out a lot of small game, got wiped off on the jean pocket then cut lunch. ::paranoid::

This knife started my love on Congress pattern knives. My favorite pattern. ::drool::

Funny you mentioned sheath. The one in the picture is my second. I actually bought a third one but I hated the way it fit on the belt. It was way to high so I sold it on Ebay. I used my first sheath until it looked like the holey socks I had on in my Sears engineer boots (the 14" set)
Wazu013 Heres a good example of the two differant sheaths one low-rider one hi-rider.First pic on belt second side by each ::nod::

This one made it to my pocket today. Queen 4 inch stockman in burlseye maple. Orvet made it sharp for me, as D2 steel and I were having an issue. (Turns out the grind angles didn't meet up.) Anyhoo, its a dandy and rides nice in the pocket, for being bigger.

Only thing I have against them is the shell handles iron.

Can't get one to feel real solid in hand. They do cut like the dickens!

This is new to me on a trade. It's a Buck Ecolite 112 frame that has been rebladed with a Bucklite 442 drop-point blade. The Paperstone is light and tough and the finger grooves are great. Best of all, the 442 has great lines and a lot more belly than my Buck 500.

The 500 remains a much classier knife and the 112 remains a favorite, albeit heavy.

But this thing looks like it will be in my pocket for a bit. Weighs nothing. Looks great (I think). Non-pretentious. Perfect blade and great lines.

Buck should make this knife (but I doubt they will).

My Buck lite 424X was used to dress my 1st deer killed with the recurve bow. It is still with me on many hunts.

I've been carrying this Case large trapper with the CV blades for the past couple of weeks, at work, home, on outings, hikes etc and have found it to be a real stand up knife! It's starting to develop a nice patina, and the blades stay sharp for a good long time...and resharpen up really easy. I like the nice big clip blade for general utility tasks, and have mainly been using the spey for food tasks, cutting steaks and sandwiches, coring out peppers, etc. The handles are nice and hefty too, gives the knife a really solid feel in the hand.
I've had this knife for a while, but this is the first period of serious use I've put it through, and I am really liking it. The large trapper is a mighty fine pattern, I can see why it has stood the test of time.

Today was a stag Conductor (CK.net variant [stag from Mike's personal stash] - top knife in picture), and an orange Benchmade Griptilian H2O … an unlikely pair, but covers it pretty well I think …

I took out my mini grip yesterday also. it is one of the best designed knives ever for a EDC. I just hate that its not a "traditional" pocket knife. ;)
