this is a knife i won on ebay, it's in excellent condition and didn't cost an arm and a leg. it's date stamped on the inside liner 90174, which means it was made in 1971. the blade is pumaster steel.

Well, the dang shield fell off my Boker 8348 while I was at the lake this weekend (dont worry folkks, I found it, And it will be repaired with something much better than super glue). So in the mean time I've rediscovered this little joy,
My case 3 dot 6202 1/2.
One of the best things about collecting pocket knives, is that if you cant carry your favorite knife, you can always carry your other favorite knife.

Boker seems to have a problem with that. I have three or four boker knives that have lost thier shields. You'd think that a company that makes such quality knives in all other respects would address that issue. I've used two part epoxy to reaplace them and have not had any fall back off.

Carried my reworked little Colonial Jack today to our annual hunt club range day. My friends are getting tired of me being excited about old restored 2 dollar knives. I can see it in their faces.
I may be too proud of this one but it made it a lot of years and is still sharp and stays that way with little attention. Both blades are solid with good snap.
Who cares what others think?

Not a spot or scratch on it. I don't carry it as a rule, just use it around the house and clean it right up.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I have googled two or three different ways and can't find anything like those two Coyotes I showed.
I haven't the slightest idea who made 'em. I DO know not to let the blade flop closed. The tip stops the blade, not a kick.

Decided to pull out something different for my EDC, this old Imperial shell rode in my pocket yesterday - even got to open a box with it.
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark
