HELP!!!!! I need some info. on two fixed blade knives. the first one is a robeson, shur-edge knife. It is 9 inches overall, with a 5 inch blade.
on a scale of 1-10 it is at least a 9. the end of the knife is aluminum, as is the blade guard. the handle is redish in color, with a series of black and cream colored spacers, at the front center and rear, of the knife.
I would like to know the age and value of this knife. the second one is a western. It is marked western, boulder colo. and is marked L-39
It is 9 1/4inches overall with a 5 + inch blade. dark colored handle with red and cream colored spacers front and rear, brass blade guard, and aluminum at the rear of the handle. would like to know the age and value of this one also. on a scale of 1-10 this one is a 6-7.

I can't help you on the Robeson, but I bought a Western like yours at the OKCA show a couple weeks ago for $15. It would be about a 8-9 on a scale of 1-10. I think I got a great deal on it, but that is what I paid.
I hope this helps,
Dale

WOW, I have one exactly like the sure-edge that I use when hunting. That sucker sharpens up quick, hold a good edge, and it's great for skinning!
Sorry, can't help with the dates.
