Knife question for a computer guru?

Post by Mossdancer »

Hello:
Having just spent a few days going back and reading old threads. A question comes to mind. Is there a way to establish a favorites list of just one subject with different sub headings? Any help would be appreciated.

To moderator of this forum. I thought this would get more play here than in some off cat. forum. If you think it necessary to move it, feel free.

I'm by no means a computer guru. In your browser programme there should be a favorites list. You could create a folder or series of folders and each time you come across a thread that you want to save you just add it to the appropriate folder. Then when you want it you just access it directly from the favorites list without having to search the site. just my 2p. Bryan or someone more computer savy will probably have some better ideas. :) s-k

Thanks S-K:
I thought I had seen it before. Just couldn't remember where. I will just start a knives favorite folder in favorites.
Have a good day.

Many thanks to the two of you:
Yes its the way to go. I reduced from a two minute hunt to fourteen manageable folders on the first half page. Recommended to one and all it is called organizing, New word to my knowledge base.. The older you get, it really becomes harder to see the forest for the trees. Next question how do I get the music off my four tracks onto my computer?

tough one wb. i have a turntable/computer($130) specifically for transfering records to cd. i experimented before with tape and had some success. involved spliotters and such to upload to my computer. but four tracks? i have a box full of 4 and 8 tracks waiting. i don't have a player for either anymore. ::dang::

tapes

Just spent a couple of hours listening to the sons of the pioneers.
the carpenters, loretta lynn and merle haggard john denver.
man it would cost hundreds to replace these. I run across quite a few 8 tracks, usually under $10. wonder if they still sell the four to 8 adapter.
if we go any further with this we better move to off subject,

Hey, Mossdancer...
Check out this eBay item# 220107214270 . They're even offering to throw in a "Platters" tape.
