A.G. Russell Knife
Bought this A.G. Russell pocket knife recently and intend on using it. Probably has the nicest looking jigged amber bone scales I've seen. Fit and finish is top notch. The edge on this knife is scary sharp and will easily pop the hair off my arm. One feature I really like is the double pull.
RIP Johnnie Rotten

Jim, for a China made knife they are really nice. Here's mine with the same handles but the other blade.

Those are two beautiful knives. The fit and finish look to be excellent on both. Goes to show what the Chinese cutlery industry is capable of. Jim I'll be interested to hear how that one holds up after you've used it for a while.

Re: A.G. Russell Knife
Hi Jim.
I had a opportunity to visit the A.G. Russell shop in Rogers, AR about a month ago. By chance, Mr. Russell and his son were helping with sales that day and I talked with both of them about some of the Chinese knives he imports. I was impressed with the quality of the knives as well.
I did learn that it is common for him to receive "samples" for review three to five times before he approves the final product. I bought a "Rancher" while there and it too is sharp as a razor with the sample fit and finish as your knife.
I have not been a fan of the Chinese made knives, but after talking with him, I gained respect for his imports. Nice fellow too.
Just my 2 cents. Going back there in February. Maybe I can get a tour (:>) this time.

Re: A.G. Russell Knife
If you will notice the one I posted earlier in the thread, you will see the one you picked is the one I had (traded it but don't remember what I got for it). The fit & finish is spectacular on those knives. I'm sure you're going to be impressed.
