Jerry, you mentioned some of my favorite knives, the CASE switchblades. You have a 6171L on your want list. Have you ever seen one? I would sure be interested in any pictures if you have some. I have the 5161L, 5171L and 6161L but I have never had the good fortune of finding a 6171L.

Welcome to AAPK!!! You will find this a great site for info and some awesome people to boot. Great bunch!
Don't have a pic but I will look around. I am dealing with a guy that is known for switches but unfortunately he sold about 70 thousand dollors worth of knives to one guy (as he told it), and he was pretty much cleaned out for now. I think I mentioned the 6171L to him to see if he had one and I recall him saying he has never had one. I will call again and see if my memory is not serving me. He had some 6161L's and a couple of 5171L's left with some various minor cracks or open/close issue.
More interested in his old CASE 11-1/2's at this point, as that is my frame of choice. So I think that will be the one I pull the trigger on first.
I'll get the others on the list soon enough. If I run across a 6171L and can't or don't pull the trigger, I will let you know. BTW, please post some pics to share with the members of the CASE switches, if you will.
Here is a CASE TESTED 6100 SAB with bomb shield (1920' to 1925')...

Here are some CASE levers. The top two are the 5161L and 5171L. The bottom two are both 6161L's. If anyone has seen or owns a CASE 6171L, please post a picture.

Here are a couple of Ka-Bar levers that were hard for me to find. A jig bone example and an example in winterbottom bone or second cut stag.

Re: Lets show some Old and Rare ones.
Rooster, I should extend my welcome to you as a relatively new member of AAPK.
Welcome!!
You have posted some fabulous knives. Congratulations on their acquisition.
I am a Robeson collector.
I have heard of Robeson marked knives such as these you've posted, but I've never seen one.
Have you?
I'm sure they would have been made by Case or possibly Remington, if they actually do exist.

Hi Charlie, thanks for the welcome. I have never seen a Robeson stamped lever switchblade. I have seen one oddball that was stamped Paxton and Gallagher Co., Omaha which must have been a contract knife with Ka-Bar.

Thanks.
That's interesting, as Ive seen obvious Robeson products marked Paxton & Gallegher, as well.
Very tangled up, those cutlery companies.

Re: Lets show some Old and Rare ones.
This old knife originality belonged to my wife's family. It went through two sets of hands before it was returned to us other the last owner found out I was collecting knives. It has wooden handles and R Zafrilla Albacete on the blade .I think it was made in Spain. Its 5" closed and 8.25" open
