When I first came to AAPK, you already had all kinds of advice and tutorials on here. If your hands get to where you can't type, we will get you a voice recognition program, so the advice doesn't stop.
Thanks Brett, I appreciate the offer but it's not necessary.
I started using DragonDictate about 1995 and switched to NaturallySpeaking a couple years later when it came out. DragonDictate was the predecessor of NaturallySpeaking. I started using dictation software when I worked as a Veteran's Representative for the State of Oregon. I had to do lots of typing of case management notes for my clients. The only way I could do that was with dictation software. I did that for almost 10 years. When my agency changed the computer program from a mainframe UNIX system to a web-based system accessed through Windows my doctor made me retire; because the new program was not compatible with NaturallySpeaking and my hands would not take the typing.
I appreciate the very generous offer; it shows me the excellent character of the members of AAPK.
YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!
