Great looking knives guys. TAB I just saw that GEC. That's a fine looking knife there. I like that main blade!

This one has an extremely tough Spey blade and a fairly tough Sheepsfoot.
My Highway Lamp bulb will actually rain tiny metal flakes when I bear down.
I had to WORK on the Spey blade to get it to really do well on some thinner than notebook stock!

Thanks guys. This is my first Canal Street, and I must say after packing it for a couple of days I'm real impressed. But man those scales. Pics cannot do them justice. That old American Chestnut is something else.

I've got big yard work to do today at both houses. So I'm going old school working knife today. I'm packing this Case 6392 with honey bone scales. It's scary sharp (chrome vanadium of course), holds a good edge, and pretty tough.

I really love that bone on your 92. Mine is a 1970 and has been in pieces for a while now.I have not been able to find a replacement primary but the replacement secondary is going back in it today with the old used up 10 dot primary, just so it can go in my pocket next week.

Some mighty nice knives on display today gents! On the 17th I showed my new Bear MGC Stockman in this thread and promised a review after carrying it this past week - here is the review; Bear & Son is making good knives.

+1 OH
Been carrying this one for over a month now. It has performed very well. Not a single complaint, good snap, very sharp and holds the edge well although I did touch up the blades but I do that with every knife that I carry and use.

Chief, this is the first one of this pattern I've had. But man I like it. I was looking for another 6375, but saw this one on Ebay and had to pick it up. I probably over paid, but I'd give that again for another like it. It ain't no collector queen, just a good honest using knife. It's really done well for me. I love the bone on yours too.

OH, I looked at some bear and sons last time I was at SMKW. I was impressed. Sure seemed like a whole lot of knife for the money.

Hi Cutty from Australia,
I like my old Schrade 881 that I found in a gun-shop back in 1973, it has never been out of my sight since and used most days.

I offered this little guy up for trade a while back but got no takers, most likely due to the two small cracks on either side of the handle below the center pins, so I decided that if he's going to stay with me, he's going to get put to work. So I took him to work with me today and he performed admirably throughout a long day of cutting tasks that are usually handled by a much larger knife...kinda liberating having such a compact but capable knife in the pocket...also liked the fact that I could walk around with it held in my hand and still use the hand to do other things....maybe I like the peanut after all!
(I did use it on some lemons and potatoes to kinda dull down the shine on those blades a bit...took on a nice natural looking sort of patina...)
