Case/Parker Centennial Knife

Would appreciate some help. How many were made with ss Case blade and what I guess is a Parker damaskus blade. With wooden box with white opalescent sliding glass top. And, is it worth anything. THANKS!

I beleive I remember reading that either 250 or 500 of those were made. The case Centenial knives sell starting at around $40 street $60 bok value. Any of the nice collector box Case knives will fetch $100 & with the Damascus & special etching & limited production your looking at a much higher price tag! The problem is that it's a real specialty collectable so you'd have to find the right buyer to get top dollar. I can't find the exact value in any of the books I have but just guessing around $250-$350. Ebay would probably only bring you about $120-$150. That's just my 2 cents worth.

It just so happens that I have one of these that I am getting ready to sell. The certificate of authenticity says there were 3000 made. I seen one for sale for $200 but I think they had it priced high. I'm going to put mine up for auction and start it at $95. If it sells, I'll let you know how much it brings.

Parker's book says 2500 (no telling if it was 2500 or 3000). He books them for $225, which is generally about 40% off; thus I would say it should bring $135 in the right crowd.

thanks guys , i am not a collector, just a old man that likes to carry and use pocket knifes, im so far out of it that, i always called them pen kinfes.over the years my children, that are all grown now lost so many of my favorite knifes, they felt guilty and bought me this one. it is to fancy for me to carry, so i guess i will just put it away. thanks again
