Yeah Johnnie, canvas micarta. I din' get to keep it long though. ::shrug:: The Tidioutes are sweet, but I can't wait to see the Northfields up close an personal. This is a great pattern and I will be adding one or two to my collection and maybe another might find it's way into my pocket!

Since that Whittler has 3 large blades in 3 popular styles.......might make a really nice club knife?

I really like the Ruby Red Bone jigging this time. It seems a little more random. These babys come sharp right outa the box and the blade selection is super! Great lookin' knife Monk, are you gonna edc it?

Monk, these Red Ruby's really caught my attention. I have a non-serialized Ruby on order, and am as "anxious as a one-eyed cat watch'n two rat holes"... That beaut you have there is quite a catch, the jigging and deep rich red is a wonderful sight to behold.

I've noticed the dealers can't keep em' on their shelves...Thanks for post'n this beauty.

I really like the bone on the factory picture (#01) and monk's (#02); so much so that I picked up some extras... But every one that has come thru here is a bit darker thru the middle - much like the blood red. Either way that color and jigging are a winner in my opinion as well.

Thanks guys !!!! ::tu:: ___ I really hope they keep using this "jigging style" on some of the different bone colors & patterns ::nod:: this jigging and the peachseed jigging tend to be my favorites___ I can see a lot of variations with the 3 3/4 inch, #79 pattern, in the future ( muskrat clip, split backspring, ect.) ::tu::

Monk,

This one sure is a looker. ::tu:: ::nod:: It almost looks like it's got a satin or glazed finish on the blades unlike the typical Northfield mirror polish. Am I mistaken? ::hmm::

Regardless, I love that style of jigging and color.

Glenn__ it does have the mirror polish__maybe just a little extra "'Ren-Wax"'-- on the blades makes it look different :)
