This website (AARP) has a section devoted to manufacturers.

For the knives pictured, try the W.R.Case website. There is a section that illustrates the various name stamps and dot patterns found on theon the tang of the knife as they appeared each year of manufacture by Case.

Also, try a Google search for "Knife Manufacturers" and you will find a zillion listed with links to their websites.

You can also, do a Google search on any knife name and usually find info.

There are also Knife Collector editions that illustrate many popular knives.
