HTT Remington ID Help

Post by kstater »

Help identifying the pictured knife (age and value) would be appreciated. I understand the only way to get the knife was to order a 1 year subscription to Hunter, Trapper, Trader magazine. This knife is a Remington. It is not numbered, but is marked HTT on the shield.

Hello kstater,

The Hunter-Trader-Trapper Magazine offered a package deal in the 1930s that included a bullet trapper and a one year subscription to the magazine for $2.50. I have a copy of the ad in one of my books. Yours looks like it might be in pretty rough shape. These knives in real good shape bring big money. Maybe someone has a price guide to give you an idea of how much...? I can't find my recent version of Seargent's price guide or I'd look it up for you.

There was a cut out coupon on the ad. I wonder if it is still good?
