Re: June 2012 AAPK Knife Giveaway
I don't know a whole lot about them either.
One of the cCc members that was a puukko fanatic got me
interested in them so after a lil research + much curiosity
I decided to try the Helle brand over the others.
First choice was a Speider05 Scout knife.
The contours of the handle are very comfortable, it's very
lightweight and the snap on the sheath releases with a quick
flip w/thumb when worn on Rh side.
Shop around it can be had 4 about $45.
Based on how much I liked the Speider05, I next chose the Fjellbekk.
About that time another cCc member posted his Opinel so off
I went in that direction. So many knives, so mini time
Comparative purposes only:
Speider05 has nothing to do w/June Gibaway results or choices.

Speider05 vs Fjellbeck:

Hope this helps
